Women and Mothers with Developmental Disabilities: Priorities for Action
This interactive Town Hall will provide an opportunity to address the following questions:
What are the fertility rates, pregnancy care and outcomes of women with DD compared to women without DD?
Are women with DD at higher risk of antipsychotics medications side effects compared to men? Side effects include diabetes, high blood pressure and blood clots.
What factors could explain inequities in uptake of breast and cervical cancer screening in women with DD, compared to women without DD?
