Professor Hélène Ouellette-Kuntz

Hélène Ouellette-Kuntz is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Community Health & Epidemiology and Psychiatry at Queen’s University.She is also an epidemiologist at Ongwanada – a non-profit, developmental service agency that offers a wide range of individualized services and community supports to people with developmental disabilities (DD) and their families in Kingston and Eastern Ontario.

In an interview, Hélène shares her inspiration for research in developmental disabilities and her views on collaboration in research, its importance and how research can be made understandable for all.She also shares an example of how her research has contributed to some real-life changes.
